    e30 cabrio retrofitting seats?

so my recently picked up vert has cardinal red leather and its torn in the usual top middle and i prefer not to reupholster them.

I've seen some threads where people put e36 rear seats in their e30's.
so i searched up vert ones, but can't find anything

is it possible to retro e36 cabrio seats? they look very similar. or maybe even e46?

welding brackets etc. is fine with me, but i just want something that looks nice.

    thanks!

It is possible, but brackets would need to be made. I think some company makes them but I am not sure.

Do you guys think its worth doing? Or is reupholstering a better way to get a nice looking interior?

Whether or not it is worth doing is entirely dependent on the cost and difficulty of the brackets and additional fabrication. Without that info the answer is...maybe.

Following this, I am trying to figure out what to do with my back seats. I know the sides are not as wide but are the bottoms the same?
