Dyed My Door Card (Before and After Pics)

    Before and after photos:

Had some tan door cards after a part out that no one wanted so I decided to give it a try and dye them. They came out really good in my opinion (or at least a hell of a lot better than expected). Pics don't really do it justice. They have a "rough" kind of feel as compared to the original texture, but would highly recommend trying this if you a college kid on a budget. Also sorry for the rear door card pic being kind of blurry.

Because someones bound to ask; I used interior cleaner, some high grit sand paper and VHT Vinyl dye.

Pretty good, nothing has rubbed off or faded. I have noticed that The dyed door cards do seem to get dirtier easier than my dads OEM black ones.

Just a pet peeve, but these aren't died, they are painted. If the product doesn't soak into the material, it is paint, regardless of what it says on the can. You can't die vinyl anyway.

Regardless, they look great. Nice job.
