^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks. It was called Teak Walnut Burl. And it was not cheap. I was going to put it in my 88 M3. One of the first E30 M3's sold at BMW of Fairfax.

Sold the car 15 years ago because the S14 was getting out dated as a power plant. What a mistake. I still got good money for the car at that time.

I'm going to search for my invoice, do some research and post an ad on the "Parts for Sale" subforum at a fair price. In the last hour I have had 10 calls on it.

          wow. that is nice.

generally, on a kit this old you would probably want to plan on replacing the double sided foam tape as it usually dries out over time and loses its stickiness.

I would rather get hydro dip. Endless options for quality finish. carbon fiber, wood, almost anything. Its better than trim kit.

This leads to a page that says 1991 3 Series custom dash kits, but has photos of different cars?

Where did you hear about this? Can this be done to anything at any graphics place, or is there a specific company that's good for E30's?

There was a green wood RD lit being sold for low dough many moons ago. How much is he pricing that kit at?

                      +1 for hydrodipping.

Its actually called water transfer printing. As I know of, it can be applied to almost every material. Its been around for more than couple years. Not many people know of it but great stuff.

See it in action. Endless finishes.

I saw them do it to rims on Wheeler dealers, but I never thought to do the interior of my car with it. New ideas for classic problems, cool.

I have done aqua graphics (hydro dip) before. It is getting pretty common, and it is beautiful once cleared. I just did a burl on a plastic table. Ill try and add a pic tomorrow. There is a company in newberg orgon that did the helmets for the oregon ducks and did some other stuff as well. Not really that expensive. And all you need is some extra interior. I think i might steel this idea!

Adding pics of some recent transfers I've done. One is burl. Other is carbon fiber.
