Wood grain trim

I have a "wood grain" trim kit that was manufactered by Racing Dynamics out of Alexandria, Va. It is E30 specific and is a gray wood color. I was a Racing Dynamics attic back when I was in the Army in the Washington, D. C. area. I am considering selling it if you are interested. Talk or text 561-758-7218. My name is Gary.

I never knew Racing Dynamics was a Virginia based company, that's pretty cool to know.

As for e30 wood trim I had no idea any ever existed. I know that a lot of wood trim is just a wood veneer with a clear poly coating. If you could live with the look of wood without having the real thing that might be an option.

So every time I see the pic of that french guy with the alpina and wood grain trim. I want some. Like bad... But its uber rare.. Could I pull out my carpentry skills and attempt? How do they get that finish? Thats not a normal grain finish that I've ever seen.
