    To restore or replace?

Hey everyone. I have a 91 318i vert and the car currently has black leather comfort seats. They are torn and the drivers seat seems to be sagging down and feels weird. Should i even bother restoring them or just find a replacement seat from a e36 or e46. And I read about some wire I can use to connect the seats if they are electric but there is no wire underneath the seats? How would I go about powering the seats. Could I use the cigarette lighter wires and just splice them to the seats?

Comfort seats aren't worth repairing. I was going to go e36 seats, but they are HEAVY.

Even the manual e36 seats are heavy? And before I sold my e24 in January I had some pristine e30 sport seats swapped into the car. I am so sad now.

I was going to do a seat of vaders in my e30 until I went to picked some up and found out how heavy they were. And they were manual to do.
