Sports Seats Differences?

I just read on a NZ E30 forum that somebody noticed their pre-facelift Sport seats seemed to be more deeply bolstered than their facelift Sports seats. Anyone able to confirm this difference? Could it just be due to differences in the wear of the foam?

The seat bottom frame is different along with other misc. hardware. I do think they sit a little lower, but it has been a while since I have had one.
