    Seat reupholstery???

How much should it cost to reupholster this seat in So. Cal?

It is in a 2002 I am looking at and is billed as a "320 recaro style" seat.

I have no clue on this type of repair.

I believe that nothing really hapened to that seat. Just 15+ years of sun and ass rub.

My friend had his e30 seats(both fronts and back) upholstered with buffalo leather(I don't what that material is in English, I believe that real buffalos are no longer available :) ), whole job cost like 3000e.

And yes, those are original plain seats, not recaro either sport, but I'd believe it's not much more expensive to trim recaros.
              Current:

              BMW 325i Cabriolet 2.5 m50 -88
              BMW 316i touring 1.6 m40 -90
              BMW 320i 4d 2,2 m54 -01

It is a 74 2002 (strike 1) roundies are better than squares, but the seats are supposedly from an e21 320 so maybe 80? 26 years is a long time for a seat.

The seller is cagey about other issues and the car is in San Jose so I think I'll be passing. I definately see a 2002 (or maybe a real gray market e21 323?) in my future though.

                  3000e? As in, 3000 euros? That's nearly $4000 USD! That's like......two E30s! or eight crappy ones!

Not to steal PB's thread, but yes I do those, cost of $50 per bolster shipped. Cardinal can be hard to match - pm me and we can go further into it if you're interested.

                              Thanks,Rob
