    Busted Glovebox

I've got a glovebox with no handle... and a broken latch. I've prying or 'picking the lock' with a flathead screwdriver.

    Any suggestions?

I'm not opposed to replacing the whole damn thing. But primarily would just like to get it open.

I had to drill mine out. It's possible to get at the bolts on the back with it closed however you still won't be able to get it off with the lock attached. If you butcher yours and want a complete assembly with lock and key let me know...

If you unbolt the back hinged-side of the glove box, you can get up inside and remove the latch.
