My dad used to pull a 19' off-shore fishing boat with his '84 318i. Although, it did have a 2.5 M50 coupled to a dogleg and a 3.64 rearend. Once, when we were pulling the boat, we beat an F-350 pulling a horse trailor. :nice:

ha.. thats awesome. and here I thought i was the only one. if that f-350 was a v10, they are real dogs. We used to pull a 4 place snowmobile trailer with our 5.2 grand cherokee and we would pull v-10s uphill that were trailering less weight, not to mention we got much better fuel milage.

So what does an e30 with an m20 2.5 in it run? I was thinking of getting a bare-bones 2.5 to run in my car since it would be a daily, but still have the option of putting some more power in it.
