    wet carpet removal

    Well Sh*t my driver and passanger side is all wet look under rear driver side carpet is all wet it not water it some kind of sticky stufflike yellowist ..
    NO rust so far as I can see i need help in pulling out the carpet of the car so I can let it dry and find where leak is coming from. IS there a easier way to remove the floor trim the one by the doors I dont want to break it thanks Franco I did a search in a couple sites maybe the leak is coming from driver side wall I need help in removing capet thanks Alot

    Ok i remove the carpet thank GOD no RUST
    I took out carpet i had to take out front seats all you need is 17 socket and flat tip screwdriver 1 phillips screwdriver and 1 10 mm and 8 mm sockets to remove speaker grills and under dash .
    any way here is picture of wet carpet

    as you see it leak some thing green i think

        heater core? do you use green coolant?

          Heater core or heater valves but I would say its more likely the heater core itself. BMW coolant.

            Antifreeze doesn't real evaporate, so you may need to rinse out the coolant on the carpet before re-installing.

                Ok I found the problem I had a loose hose maybe it became loose when I remove center console
                thank GOd problem fixed I started car up and blasted the heat no more leaks ...
