Yeah, they would really hate to end up in a prediciment where they ruin your fabric and now they have to go all over town trying to find it and/or spending a small fortune trying to replace it.
The dangerous thing about allowing the customer to supply the materials is that if something goes wrong, the shop owner will end up having to PAY to complete the work in lieu of getting PAID to do it.
