    aftermarket gauge holder

Does anybody know where I can get one of the 3 hole gauge holders that mount in the tray in front of the ashtray? Thanks

Sorry, I am not sure if this is what you want because it takes the place of the ashtray.

Bavauto sells the ones that replace the tray above the ashtray.

They have got to be kidding with that price!!!!!!! $129 for a piece of plastic that sells on the internet for $35. Bav Auto has gotten to be one of the most ridiculous companies for BMW parts ever! They used to be a great BMW resource, now they are just filled with overpriced crap that nobody needs!

I have the parker gauge pod, it's pretty nice. I don't smoke so I don't need the ash tray (but I do use the pocket above it). you can also get it covered in leather, and it's cheap!

Get a hole saw and a piece of Alluminum, cut it to the right demensions and bore out some holes. Shouldn't take more than an hour...

I'm going to have to get the parker one that replaces the ash tray for mine. And figure out where to put a tach at in mine.

what's wrong with the tach that came with your car?

                      I'm doing a swap. And i don't think that's there is a V8 tach for an e30.

I don't think it matters if it's a V8 or not. not sure cause I've never done it.. but I think it can be made to work.

I don't know if it will or not? On aftermarket tach's there is a switch for 4,6,or 8 cyl's.

I believe the E30 tach is controlled by the coding plug. I'd guess you'd need one from an 8cyl.. but I don't know what one would work. V8 swaps have been done many times before though so there must be something that works.
