    Euro HVAC panel installed

Finally got this sonofabitch installed today, been putting it off because I hate pulling and installing these things, but it was time to do it. I love the fact that it centers the radio in the panel, and I honestly don't think I ever used any of the functions of the OBC, except for the remaining fuel function, which I can live without. I think this makes the whole panel look much cleaner, and it's much more aesthetically pleasing with everything centered, rather than everything being shifted to the left. What do you guys think?

You have to take out the cluster to remove that?

I was thinking about this myself, we'll see.

Nah, you don't have to pull the cluster, I already had it out for some stuff I was doing with it. But I'll tell you what, it makes it really easy to reach back there and grab the harnesses for the switches and radio and what not!

Yup, that's going, too. I never use it, A/C gives me a headache, and it burns up too much gas. I'm pulling the compressor and all the copper lines, too.

Bumping an old thread to ask a question. I was wondering if there is an OE HVAC panel that moves the radio over to the right hand side and the OBC to the left. My friend wants to get a flip out screen head unit and wants to keep his OBC and not have to cut the wiper stalk down.
                      Thanks

No dice, the RHD piece won't fit in a LHD car.

...at least, I'm PRETTY sure I recall someone talking about how the dash won't let it sit in there right. You could try, but don't blame me if it don't fit!

Oh, just noticed the a/c delete plate. Must go check if the hazard/defroster delete plates are the same size...i bet they aren't...

You need to remove that ghay fader switch though ;)
