    Sport Evo Interior......finally!

    Pics say it all:

I got the black for the rear from Recaro to match just leaving the Avus cloth on the bolsters of the SRD's....so it all matches perfect.

I also got the some of the last OEM doorcards, and a real set of OEM rear cards from Ted Laird's old racecar, thanks to the new owner.

So without buying/importing a real Sport Evo, I'm about as close as it gets to the interior now.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

I don't really like the SE cloth, but good on ya mate - really nice.

I'd rather use a more modern M cloth (planning on doing so)

Thanks for the compliments. I been waiting to get this done forever. The only thing left to do is to black out the "RECARO". They ain't paying to advertise, and I don't want anything detracting from how I'm doing my interior.

Everything black except the SE inserts, and the charcoal carpet. That's my interior theme.

I'll get some installed shots soon-ish, once I'm done doing motor / wiring / dashboard work. No dirt smudges for me, I waited way too long to screw these up.

Jeff Chapman. He's really an unassuming type guy, but his work speaks for itself. I am going to give him business till the day he retires.

Yep to the local as well - in fact you were in the grey E30 last year when me & cheades, Nando, & yourself all went down to the picnic. I was in cheades red s50 swap car. At least if that was you I am remembering.

Yep that was me. The car is ALOT more finished than last year. I had just got it driving then and put my ronals from my eta on it.

the seats looks fantastic... I'll have to hit you up for his contact info once I finally get around to redoing my interior.

would you be willing to share how much it cost?

PM me .... And I need to check with Jeff before I go saying anything. He's not the kind of guy you 'price shop' - you either go with him, or not - plus he's booked a solid 2-3 months out. Not like he's hungry for work.

Those seats look great, are you using the stock mounting rails and what not or are they going to be fixed for the fronts?
