    Tighten the Rear View Mirror?

Is there any way to tighten the rear view mirror so that it doesn't move around whenever I hit a bump? Mine has maplights, BTW.

    TIA,
    Mark

Should have a vibration screw on the back, adjust out so it touches the screen!

      eko,

No vibration screw visible - is it accessible through the opening where the dimmer flipper is?

      Thank you,

It should screw into the back of the mounting arm!

do you have a maplight mirror or not, maplight mirrors have the arm, the others dont.

edit: nevermind im a fuckin idiot and need to read the whole first post.

              anyway...

you might need one (adjuster screw) and that is the reason why it is bouncing around. is anything touching your windschield? or even remotley close? ill get pics in a minute.

every map light mirror I have seen has had the little black thing that touches the window and screws/unscrews and applies more/less pressure holding it in place.

Hey guys, maybe I wasn't clear, the arm isn't moving, it's the mirror that moves around allot. The 'ball n socket' thing is loose.

                      Thanks again,
