    Cracks in the dash

The cracks in my dash are getting really bad. What should I do? I tried filling them in but so far they are just getting worse. anyone know of a cover I can use or should i try to find a new dashboard?

i dont remember what kind but i just did it as a quick fix. nothing permanent. i want to put in a new dash but was wondering how much it would be for someone to install it because i have no idea how to do it. Also i was wondering if anyone has tried a cover like the one on bavauto.

ive removed and installed 4 e30 dashes its not bad....the only hard part is the
temp dials and controls....but if you take them apart right its not too bad at all....just watch the screw under the column for the dash..i alway forget it....putting it in requires two people....if you do it on your own it sucks....but i have done it....also label all your screw...and switches....or just leave the switches in...all together...maybe a 2-3 hour job

I got a nice dash for $20 somehow. Took an hour or so to do the swap.

before I found a crackless dash at the boneyard, I contemplated using the plastic/vinyl welding system they sell at harbor freight. I was going to be the guinea pig, but like mr 325, got one for 20$. You can be that test bed..

I've seen dash covers for about $90 that look pretty good, I think Bavarian auto has them.
