Installed my custom gauge panel today

Here it is - turned out okay. Wish I could have found a better material but using good quality carbon fiber makes a big difference. Now I just need a good camera.

Its a stinch remover. Car developed a bad smell when an animal died in the engine compartment over winter and I've been trying to get it out ever since. That wasn't the reason for the pics though.

        DIRTYYY.

Its a very nice setup with the guages, you had to custom make the whole thing?

Yeah I know its dirty, I'm doing a thorough cleaning tomorrow. And yeah, I made the whole thing. Its plexiglass with .2mm carbon fiber sheeting epoxy'd over top. That stuff is a PIA to work with, much worse than fiberglass. Splinters much worse since the fibers are stronger, but overall, it was pretty easy to make once I got the plexiglass to fit how I wanted it. The plexiglass was melted over a pvc pipe to get the curve, then drilled out with a 2" holesaw.

Ha I meant the fact that something actually did die in your car and that stank must have been hideous when I said "DIRTYYYY"

Great job though, it looks great. You could make a killing selling those! ;)

Someone already asked me about selling them. I'd worry about fitment though. It was pretty hard to get it to fit right, lots of trial and error. I think I went through 4 or 5 peices before I figured out how to make it work well. Thanks...

Frebreeze baby it'll get rid of the smell. My car got skunked, and it stunk, the frebreeze helped.

The guage panel looks good. Have fun at the track this weekend.

The event is June 30th. Think you'll have the rack in by then?

Yes I hope so, I swapped my diff today for a 3.25lsd instead of the 3.73 lsd. Cruise and still get some mileage out of the car.

Glade plugin refills. 3 per pack, I got like 30 hidden in my car. And 2 of those canned kind, one is gell and the other is like particle board.
                        My car smells nice.

I like it except for the nuts but the CF looks good. I've always liked the location but just can't bring myself to sacrifice my center vents especially since I have no AC. I can see a lot of track guys buying that piece if the price was right.

It was the only way to mount it without doing some extensive work to the plate. I'll likely revise it if I do another. I've gotten several requests for them so I may make a dozen or so and sell them.
