    I have an IX carpet currently in my car.

    Reason being, was a I did an interior swap from tan to black...I was pleasantly surprised to find that the carpet had no padding attached to it, yet the one I pulled from my car did!

    This Jute padding is just padding really, its not like form fitted stuff. I will have to do the "form-fitting" myself.

    Besides I will be dynamatting everything.

      Find an early car to hijack the padding from. My sons' '85 ETA had separate padding. Fit into a '90 coupe, no problemo.

              good point, i need to find the second half, its no longer available new from the factory.

                I actually could not find Peel n seal at HD here. I actually had to go to a local roofing supply store. All that you saw to cover my interior was probably about 7lbs. just guessing, but no it isnt that heavy
