So how hard will it be to swap in 7 series window switches which are almomst identical in size to E30 ones and a ten dollars a piece they are hard to beat, being one touch up and one touch down? I had a couple I tried to wire in but I burnt one up and have not had time to fool with the other one yet. ANyone tried this yet. I grabbed the switches from a 95' 740i. -Dylansigpic

you should be able to find a single switch bezel for an e36, the switches I hardwired into my e30 wiring harness. the e30 has 5 wires and the e36 has 4. one of the e30 grounds you dont have to use. I'll try and get what color goes where later today, I have one more window switch to do because my parts guy just now got me the last harness I needed :roll:Originally posted by sbz1312sigpicComment
