Just out a curiosity..
How would I wire up a fifth window switch?
E36 cabrio's have a fifth switch that's a one touch that lowers all the windows at once.. REALLY nice... especially for us open air flyers :P1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

I would assume the same way it is wired up in an E36 Cabrio. You would have to take a look and figure it out.Originally posted by PanamaE30Just out a curiosity..

Well, I was thinking about it a bit more and figured it shouldn't be that hard..
The hard part would be finding a nice spot for the fifth switch.. because in the E36, the fifth switch goes between the switches for the front and rear driver side windows... but to move those around to get my switch in place, i'd have to fill those and then drill three new holes.. hmm... any thoughts?1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

Yep, sold it to my brother in law. He's a good guy and needed a good car so I sold it too him on payments...
Got an M3 with a motor that's probably damaged - looking for an S50 to drop in.
Also bought a 525ia with an overheated motor. Nice shape car, bought it for $650, dropped an M20 in it from a totalled parts car and I got a sweet cruiser for next to nothin.IanComment

Ok, reviving this thread.
First, to all the people who want the original write-up, PM me and I'll e-mail it to you.
Second, if you want to wait just a little over a month, I just scored a set for dirt-cheap, and will be doing a much more detailed write-up, which several more MUCH better pics when I put mine in.Comment
