car is in winter storage... it took me a while to get that pic so I have no better of just the pedals. ill take better pics of the car in total in the summer.

Pedals are real... purchased through ACS. Just outa curiousity what makes you think they arent real from that pic?

there is a rubber pad on the bottom and it sticks through the slots on the metal part of the pedal, and then they are bolted down to the pedal. had to drill the pedals.

I like my new oem $5 rubber pedal covers ;) My old one was coming off too but that's because one of the corners was torn.

Do these metal pedal covers not slip ? I can't tell if they have rubber pads on them like lets say s2k pedals.

How do you know they aren't built to high standards? Maybe better hardware or stronger aluminum? On track cars, a pedal falling off or coming loose can be fatal...

Hell I don't know, they could be identical... but ACS wouldn't offer them if they couldn't sell them. Believe it or not, there IS a crowd of people who don't put together $10k shitboxes with ebay parts, but instead put together $100k+ cars to be used and can't afford to run the risk of ANY subpar parts.

Hell, the first point is right too. Education costs money, experience costs money, R&D costs money... Don't get me started.

These are the two tenets of what I have come to know of the automotive performance parts industry.

Hey dude, I never tried to pretend they were "real", look at my original post. For x amount that I did not want to spend those looked the best. I suppose if they were blank I would rather have them, I dont give a shit about the ACS name one bit. Why do I have to explain myself to you anyway. Besides I dont even have my paper work with me.;)
