    Conditioner for the seats?

I am slowly working on my 85 project car and once I clean the carpets, I will be installing the black sport interior I have out of my friend's 318is. Anyway, I want to do something to the seats and I know there is such thing as leather conditioner which softens them up so they don't egt hard and crack and I am wodnering if there is something like this that can be used on the vinyl seats?

Lexol leather cleaner/conditioner is a great product... but now that I have a 318is with leatherette seats, i need to find myself a good vinyl cleaner/conditioner as well.

Anyoen have any experince using Lexol Vinylex on the leatherette seats ( http://superiorcarcare.net/lexsprayvin.html ) ? Or will leather cleaner/conditioner work?

          Leatherique.

The Rejuvenator oil is the top of its class, hands down.

          Lexol can't come close.

I'm talking cardboard hard leather to flexible suppleness here.

Leatherique and Lexol are NOT vinyl products....

They're both fine products (especially the Leatherique), but for Vinyl you'll want to use something like Vinylex (by the people that make Lexol) or 303 Aerospace Protectant (http://www.303products.com/main.php?infopage=products). The Vinylex is available at most autoparts stores. The 303, which is supposed to have the highest UV protectant rating, you can get off the Internet.

Is there anything that works almost as well but a bit cheaper?

Ya, I think that's what I will go with. I have to spend the least amount of money possible... The Bimmer needs parts. :)
