What products do you use on your dash. I've heard that Armor All and other similar products are bad for them and will eventually promote cracking. Anything at the local auto parts store that is worth picking up?

I use viynlex. I like it, because its not slippery, and i dont *think* there is any silicone in it.

Armor All doesn't.
whatever you put on your dash will if you go from frequent treatments to no treatments at all. That's the key.My mountains are better than yours.Comment

You can try to keep the dash supple by using Armor All or Vinylex, etc. It certainly makes the dash look better. The real enemy is temperature. As the dash expands and contracts it's bound to crack especially if not treated. Do your best to regulate in car temperature or direct sunlight. The dash in my 325 cracked overnight and when it's hot you can see the crack get narrower than when it's cold."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
