seat belt stitching

hey guys,

does anyone know of a shop that would be willing to stitch seatbelts. I found a place where I can order the red or any color webbing, just need someone to stitch it so I can use my existing hardware.

Will save me time from calling everyone around town.

any upholstery shop should have strong enough thread to do it.

^ Yeah DOT has a regulation. I called them to see if they had company info. It states that a company can not modify but the owner can. I dont know how to sew something like tat plus dont have a machine.Will try to convince a shop to do it, but might be hard to convince.

I will call around though. Maybe someones knows someone who will do it. Thats why I posted.

A lot of belts are engineered with some tear away stitching, kinda like a "crumple zone". No clue if BMW did it on the e30.

take it to a shop and hand them cash, it'll be like it never happened.
