    Well i'm almost done with this mod. I'm waiting for them to dry and such so i can put the velcro on em. You can actually dissassemble the grille's and everything once you get them out. Unfortunately, because the walk-through was so piss-poor, i ended up putting a small (but noticeable) gash throug the top couple shingles in one of my center vents.

    the screw driver method is complete and utter bullshit, and you're better off not using one.


    instead of putting the screwdriver when its in that position, just put your fingers on the far left and far right side of that bottom shingle there, and push down as hard as you can. and it will pop loose.. Getting the damn thing out is another story in and of itself.

    Once you get em out though, all of the directional shingles inside pop out, and you can hand clean all of them, alot better than you would be able to with little qtips and stuff, just grab a scrub brush you would use for dishes and go to town.

      just finished everything up.. its really hard to move them now that they're back in (vertically). its kind of a set it AND FORGET IT!! kind of a deal.. works good for what its supposed to do though ;)
