'89 635csi front door panel question

so I was driving my dad's six while my car is at the painter. Went on a date, and the girl left her purse in the car (I didn't even notice, much less think to be vigilant in a town as low key as Bellingham). Sure enough a thief saw the purse, and threw a rock through the passenger side window with enough momentum to tear the lower rectangular section of the driver's side door card (see picture with arrow). It was minty fresh black leather, and I'm wondering if that section can be replaced, what the part number would be, how much it would cost and where I can find it...or if I should just recover it.

I know this isn't the best forum for this, but if anyone has any input I'd really appreciate it...

Unfortunately, I can't find a damned thing. Best I got was the number of the door panel. However that would cost an absolute shitload to replace.

    Sorry man.

yeah like 1400 bucks...ridiculous! That piece definitely detaches though, and should not be too expensive to recover...

The dumbasses used her cell phone to make calls and changed her incoming call ring tone to classical music. Maybe the police can talk to the people they called, but I doubt it...

Then give them my email: elguapo84@hotmail.com

dude, bellingham has horrible property crime - thanks to all the druggies/meth heads. you can't have anything nice, not even a 20+ year old BMW is safe. ESPECIALLY not a clean 20+ year old BMW. they all look at me like I'm a rich yuppie bastard, when half of the soccer moms around me are driving SUVs that cost 10x as much to own & operate. Maybe if they got a job instead of hanging out on railroad ave. all day they would have something..

I would also give the local BMW CCA forum a look.
