He does deal with a lot of US based customers so I suggest giving him a call.

Thanks for the link. I saw you recommend them I'm post 733. I was hoping for a place in the states; although, BC wouldn't be a big deal for just trying to get piece parts shipped. I'll have to hit them up to see what the damage would be.

and here's some deepest bolsters I've ever had/seen on old recaro.
top bolsters are pretty standard big ones but bottom ones are unseen, as deep as a beer can :)

Sportsters fit like any other Recaro.
If you have a Recaro mount and sliders, a CS bolts straight on.

One of my E30's has Sportsters in it and I use the same base and sliders when I put a Recaro SPA in.

    Easy, ala

For what it's worth I also have Recaro Experts in another E30 (the new "LS") and over a long distance they are more comfortable than the Sportster, in my opinion.

Sportsters sure do look nice though.

Also, Sportster are a plastic framed seat whereas the Expert / LS/ etc are steel framed. Not that I imagine that matters a damn, given the testing and regulations they have to pass/comply.

Someone requested pictures of the paperwork I had with it. I did not take pictures of the bill of sale.

What I believe is in this letter, was the info and catalog to order with(being the 80s and all).

This paper is very high grade, it is watermarked and everything. Very nice weight to it ;D

I will be happy to take a picture of a seat model you desire to read clearly. Just tell me what one you want and I will use my macro lens.

Great work, reasonable pricing and he gets the job done.
Cool, when I'm ready to get my Classics done, I will give your guy a hollar. Thanks!

He told me the same, and then not a week or two later, said he was still going to complete or do small projects for a few people. But if he still in fact owes that guy $1500, I'm not exactly taking that lightly. I really hope he doesn't still owe anyone around here money/product.

I have to say, I'm fairly miffed that he's just disappeared. He did do my jackets and everything as promised, but in a sort of roundabout way (which it appears was partially my fault, I somewhat misunderstood him), managed to get out of doing my inserts for my MkII Recaros. Now, I can have them done elsewhere, I'm sure. But I wanted them done by the same person who did the rest of them. Slightly irritating.

I'm probably just going to have to end up finding an upholstery shop locally who can knock them out, and hopefully, still do the Recaro embroidery, as well. At least I won't have $400 tied up for over a year, 8 hours away with the most limited contact known to man.

He's not still sitting on anyone's orders or money, is he? He also hasn't posted anything on his Facebook since October.

Googled him and just found this, dated the 20th of last month:
