Interesting thread, but are there any major differences between the E30 sport seats and the Recaro seats? And on a not-so-related note, is anyone experienced in repairing seat mechanics? The tilt on my driver's seat is broken and the seatback wobbles; not too conducive to sporty driving...

Don´t think repairing it should be a big problem....should be a thread somewhere about interior maintenance. But my car has sports seats which are not the Recaro kind....I think

Nope, yours are option recaros. Your bolsters are way too big to be sport seat bolsters.

I love those, and they are indeed e30 option recaros. I think I've posted a pic of mine in here, they look identical to yours. (except for the cloth pattern)

Well there´s plenty of them in Germany....and for sale :) not even that expensive. Go to www.ebay.de and punch in E30 sportsitze and something should pop up :)

It is actually a fully functional Nokia cellphone. I find it to be very old-school.
