    Bye-bye, M-Tech II...

My M-Tech II steering wheel is gone, after 2 years of rocking it attached to my steering column. It was time for a change, especially with my whole interior undergoing a pretty radical shift. So I traded it away for this little beauty, which just got here today:

I'm so stoked, I can't wait to put this thing in...

Nardi makes E30 hub kits, have to get one of those.

And no, I'm not getting rid of my Recaros.

I don't know, trading the perfect OEM BMW steering wheel for a peice of stamped steel wrapped in vinyl?

but if you like it

PS I want your seats too! :p

Umm, that's not vinyl Chris, it's perforated leather. All the way around, no vinyl in sight.

why do you like that better than the Tech 2 wheel? I have been searching high and low for a tech 2. Just curious.

I've had the M-Tech II for over 2 years, and I got tired of it. You look at the steering wheel more than just about any other interior part of your car, and I was ready for something new. I'm changing my seats, door panels, carpets, etc, and I figured the steering wheel should go, too. Plus, the red stitching in the steering wheel leather will compliment the red Recaro embroidery in my seats.

                            size?

I always wanted to rock a nardi classic wheel.
                            this one to be exact:

I'm not sure of the exact size, but I put it up against my M-Tech II wheel, and it is smaller.
