High & Low beam bulb with integrated turn signal?

I would like to eliminate the turn signal from front diving board bumper. A year or so ago I saw a picture with the turn signal removed and it really cleaned up the front bumper. The question that I never did see the answer to is how did they handle the front turn signal. There appears to be motorcycle headlights with integrated turn signals but I haven't seen any that would fit our E30s. Anyone have any insight?

I remember someone running a rear bumper strip in the front to delete the turn signals and license plate holder. They relocated the turn signals behind the grills.

Here are some pics of my car with the rear strip on the front. Have no turn signals, but the plan is to get smileys and use the city lights as turn signals. Wiring for that is pretty easy afaik.

Sorry if they're compressed to shit, idfk what to do about that.

Did you ever get smileys and wire the city lights as turn signals? Are you planning (or using) amber tinted or clear bulbs?

I was wondering, because I have headlights with clear 4W 'city lights.' This bulb is actually way too dim to act as a turn signal, according to the lighting regulations (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108). In fact, I know they are there -- but have to get my face right up close to the light to verify they are working... common sense tells me they will not be noticed by someone driving past... I DO NOT trust other motorists to pay attention, as I am frequently cut off when I do use turns and they are quite visible.

I can see the front looks a whole lot cleaner with no lenses in the bumper, but I think having a working front turn signal is a good idea...I suspect the majority of motorists on the road will not notice the lack, since a good portion of the "Motoring Public" doesn't use turn signals anyway. But we all know how traffic cops will use 'pretexting' to stop and search a vehicle.

Florida state troopers used this technique to look for motorists who pulled a U-Turn on the interstate or other road after seeing a sign stating "NARCOTICS INSPECTION AHEAD" -- Of course the sign was fake, but they use the pretext of an illegal U-Turn to stop and search the vehicle... and sometimes they found drugs. The whole thing was declared illegal and they had to stop with the fake signage. Sorry, I guess I got off topic!

You might look for some cheap amber driving lights or 'universal' turn signals with their own housing, and stick them behind the grill- at least you'd have something that worked and was stealthy...
