I'd go with yellow fogs, and 5000K or 6000K HIDs in the lows and leave the highs alone.

You have to do some type of conversion right? If so what do you have to do?

For HIDs? You should have the factory ellips headlights in it since it's an 88. HIDs are easy to install since there is only a + and - wire. If you want HIDs in the fog lights, some cutting to the housing may have to be done.

If you're talking about putting HIDs in, you need the stuff that Jason provided in the other link (ballasts and bulbs iirc, DDm sells it as a kit for like $65 for the minimum stuff you need). I actually just ordered my HID stuff this morning.

One set gives you two ballasts and two bulbs, so you'll have them for each of your lowbeams or each of your foglights.
If you order HIDs for your fogs, get the 35w. Apparently the 55w gets too hot in the foglight housings.

If you wanted HIDs for both lowbeams and foglights, you'll need to order two sets.

Depends on what setup of lights you have. I have US spec ellipsoids and they take 9006 bulbs for the low beams and I needed H3 bulbs for my fogs.

Depends on what light color you'd like. I got 4500k because I didn't want any blue tinge in the light, apparently 5000k as a very slight blue tinge in the output.

why are you trying to match your light temp with your car? thats not the purpose behind why there are different temp options for hids.
