$200 would be cheap for brand new.. but why do you want the US Ellipsoids? For $200 you can get a mint used set of euro Ellipsoids.

What is your hangup on new shit? Your car isn't new, and I'm sure It doesn't have many new parts on it.

There is nothing wrong with a good used set of euro Ellipsoids.

I would like to know why everyone here says that the euro lights are better? took a set of us elips off a friend e30, put the euros on, and he claims he can see alot less. yes, they were adjusted too. In germany here you have to change us headlights to euro ones because the us light throws a much wider, and non directed beam. so someone please let me know. I have never driven a bmw with us lights, so i really dont know.

because US ellips use 9005 and 9006 bulbs, which aren't much of an improvement over sealed beams.

Euro ellips have a better light output than any other lights, that simple. They use H1 bulbs all the way around.

yea, fine they have more light output, BUT they are directed in the euro lenses more to the ground, and to the right in a r/hand drive car. so therefore you have brighter light shining not as far from your car. would rather have the us style, throws the light alot more like the "brights"-highbeam
