    Sealed>ellipsoid first impression.

Alls I can say is going from sealed beam headlights to ellipsoids today was truly an eyeopening experience.

To anyone with sealed beam headlights; This should be your FIRST mod! Especially going into the winter. I cannot believe the difference!

what kind of bulb are you running in the ellips? Have you done an HID ballast thingy yet?

No HID yet, just installed some BOSCH euro non-smileys with 55w lows.

Tomorrow is loading some Hi beam bulbs and retrofitting the wiring for Low+Hi operation.

H4/H1 is the best upgrade for sealed beams IMO. plug and play!

I agree with ur idea on the H4/1 ease of setup for sure. However, I wanted to have the ability to go HID in the future so I went ellipsoid.

It is a nice upgrade and the highbeams with those are amazing.

Agreed. HID's don't really improve distance vision at all and they make you look like a ricer. A proper bulb set-up will do great things for your night vision.
