    Euro ellipsoid reflectors the same?

Are the reflectors and glass the same right and left side? I just got a set of used ellipsoid and notice that the back of both reflectors is stamped R.

They should be the same. Have you installed them?

No I have not installed them yet. Its too cold, waiting for bulbs, lamin-x, and looking for the spring clips the hold the bulb in place

i.e. don't install them on your car if you're in the USA otherwise you'll have a fucked up beam pattern :-/

You'll be fine. Just rotate the back of it and it converts to LHD. I had to do it to mine when I bought some from the UK. All ellipsoids can convert between LHD and RHD beam patterns. Just loosen the 3 screws on the back of the part holding the lens and rotate it all the way to the other side of the slits.

that's what I was going to say. and actually where I drive (99% on the freeway in the left lane) it's almost better to have the RHD pattern. :P

sucks as far as streetsigns go though.. can't wait to ditch my depo's.

that is not the R that stands for the RHD. there should be a RHD marked on the outside by one of the 3 screws. you just turn the rear part to make it for a RHD country. It looks to me like you have 2 right side rears! shouldnt make that much of a difference. not one that you will notice driving, maybe the people coming at you though.
