    Dash Light Question

Have had my E30 for 2 months and the dash lights have never worked. My gauges are M gauges that the previous owner put in. Got in it tonight and they randomly started working.

I think I just have a short anyone know how to go about permanently fixing them like where the dash light relay is or where I could look for the short. Dont know much about car wiring but I do know how to solder if needed.

    Thank you

Mostly likely cracked solder joints on the main board in the instrument cluster. Take it apart and check. Reflow the joints and bridge open traces if you have to.

OK, I see that you read what Barry shared with you.

Now, PAY ATTENTION, we don't write shit on here for you to ignore, got it?

TAKE THE FUCKER APART and you will see the main board.

Youre not helping what so ever. I dont know where the instrument cluster is! I made it clear that I dont know much about car wiring especially not on mine because this is my first bmw or german car. Why dont you go rage in another thread.
