    Will these work? Help please!

ilovebodykits.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, ilovebodykits.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

I'm wondering if the lights in te above link are direct plug and play. It says they are but I'm worried cause they seem pretty cheap. Basically I wanna know if I have to build a housing or do they directly install to the stock setup (housing and wiring). I don't want to do modifications. Thanks for any input.

Do not buy. They bolt in, but you do have to rewire, and the quality of their lights and seals are sub-par at best.

Look on the board here for some euro ellipsoids instead.

Not to mention that 'halo' or 'angel eye' lights on an e30 are a no no.

Please don't add halos to your BMW.

I have seen these in person and they actually look pretty good. The light output is also good.

I have the US ellips with the stock bulbs and they are really good IMO. (For a halogen) You can find them pretty cheaply too, but lack the "bling" of the euro smileys and other lights.

You can get new hella h4/h1 e-code lamps for about as much as you're looking at spending on that ebay junk and they are plug and play for a car with sealed beams.

Or you can get some euro ellipsoids used or new or find some us ellipsoids in the junkyard. The h4/h1 setup has better light output and pattern than us ellipsoids.

Other than the Euro beam pattern, shouldn't they be similar to the US ones? But then again I know pretty much nothing about E30 headlights so you might not want to listen to me.

Can you explain more about the H4/H1 setup or where i can get this? I don't know anything about lighting other than my stock E30 setup is WEAK!

Read about automotive lighting here: http://danielsternlighting.com/

I bought my setup here: http://www.rallylights.com/hella/HeadlampsMain.aspx

You really need to do some research to figure out what lights are best for you and your price point. Those two sites are good places to start.
