Hella smoked ellipsoid, high beam baffle template.

I opened up what was left of Clavin's smashed ellipsoidal assembly, and salvaged what I could. I flattened the high beam baffles out, and scanned them in.

Had to save them as a PDF file to ensure proper print size. Makes it alot more simple.

Just open and print at 100% (Don't let Acrobat scale it down or size to fit printer margins)

Are these pieces a thin metal or some plastic?

They are thin very mild steel. Quite easy to bend and reshape in your hand.

I built my by hand with aluminuim painted stain black. Worked great! :)

I made templates with cardboard and then transfered it onto the alum.

Its just the reflector, its painted black instead of being chrome plated.

NOt the reflector, the blocking plate. The ring around the ellipsoid eye exists on both styles its just silver on the white ones and black on the black ones. There is no change in output.

Are you going to try and convert your headlights to smoked if you cant find a passenger assembly?

Another questions, what is the best way to remove the lenses from the housings? The hairdryer didnt heat them up enough, plus one of my lenses was already cracked and broke.

I sell thin metal just like that. However, smallest quantity I could get would be 10,000lbs.

Mad props for doing the cutout.

they should work just fine in the bosch highbeams, with minor modification worst case.
