    I personally want/am getting 100w rally bulbs for my hi-beams because I neverr use them unless I'm coming into a blind corner at night in a single lane or flashing someone/something.
    Well I was thinking of getting a set of 55w for my lows and then moving the 35w into the highs.

    But I have to say that the 35w is bright enough for me especially compared to stock. So I'm pretty much scrapping that idea.

    You only need to buy the kit, it's plug and play with the same connector as stock. (At least for the ellips)

    Edit ehh, I keep on waiting like 20 minutes before hitting post. . .

      The low beam bulbs wont work in the highs.
      low = 9006
      high = 9005

        Yea but wont the bulbs with the ddm tuning kits work with either the 55w or 35w and I would just be able to swap the ballasts?

          Maybe.
          Read the sticker on the ballasts.
          I'm not sure if it says '55w or 35w specific' or something.

            From what is posted on DDM Tuning's website the ballasts are specific to 35w and 55w.

            "All of our bulbs are rated up to 60 watts. If ordered a 55w HI/LO kit you may noticed the bulbs have a 35w sticker on them. Do not be alarmed as these bulbs are rated up to 60 watts. The ballast are what controls the output, so as long as you received 55w ballast you will have a 55w kit. "

              Since there were some more questions regarding my setup, I'll clarify them here again
              I'm running HID 2000k (from DDM) 35k, H3's in my Ellipsoid Fogs.
              My Low/High-beams are halogen.
              Now, to those knocking the DDM kits, I honestly can't say anything bad about the company and their products, other than they have been SLOW as hell, regarding an order of mine, for suspension components. But that's all.

                  no, it produces the same yellow color so it shouldnt matter.

                        Are those legal in CA? / does anyone ever check?

                        worst you could get is a fix-it-ticket right?

                          how would a cop know unless you are driving near other cars with your highs on (which is illegal in itself)

                            Ive never heard of anyone checking bulbs... Only time people get pulled over is for being jackasses and driving in traffic with the high beams on or for HID's that aren't aimed correctly.

                            *Edit: Beat me to it^

                              I am very satisfied, and I'm not blind the oncoming traffic who, as it is very soft. The left image is my Outlander, pictured right is tdford. It is a little cleaner cut in OEM, but not by much.
