    HID Fogs

Who has done up HID Ellipsoid Fogs? I'm interested in hearing how you did it. I got the H3 Raptor 2000K Kit.

Put the bulbs in, splice in the connector, and drive away. Other than that, you need to be a little more specific.

    Here is a write up...

Thanks Van Westervelt. I just found Clavin's thread, and pm'd him. I was more curious about the wiring. Do I need to run a line to the battery?

You either ziptie, or bolt it to any location that it fits. He put his fog and low beam stacked together on the sheetmetal just below the headlights.

Its at your discretion where you mount the ballast.

^come on son. You don't have a pair of wire cutters?

All you need to make these work is wire cutters, and electrical tape. Cut the terminals off the kit and splice the wires. Power to power. Ground to ground. Then mount them in the headlight housings and find a place for the ballast. That's it and that's all.

I would recommend butt connectors or soldering and heatshrink tubing though.
