We could keep going on like this round and round but my lights are directed in a manner that do not go into outer space or wasted air and directly in your eyes driving towards me. ON the inside they have a shield that directs where the lights go in contrasting forward. I left those in and didnt take them out like alot of people do. Alot of people told me to take them out to make them brighter and i didnt. There are alot of people that have zenon lights factory on there cars that are just as bright. Why dont you complain to them too. Ok mine are bright but i am not out to blind other people on the road jackass. I did take the time to adjust them in a manner that aims them down more towards the ground than completely straight forward and it does still contrast forward the light that i need. Thank you for playing.;)

It not about aiming the lights.... its about FOCUS. HIDs in h4 reflectors are focused wrong and scatter light everywhere.... it doesn't matter where you aim them, they are out-of-focus and cause glare.
If you want HIDs, get ellipsoids (projectors), which can focus HIDs correctly.

Look, obviously you can both tell you touched a bit of a nerve here, and the reason is, this is a forum with a lot of technically competent individuals who also happen to be driving enthusiasts.
This bad idea is an affront to both sensibilities. Face it, HID lighting really doesn't belong in ANY light housing not designed for it, the chinese kits are NOT the pinnacle of lighting engineering, and it is a shitty setup.
Projector lights are a little better as they keep their shortcomings to the driver of the car (namely poor efficiency with the HID light) as opposed to sharing them with the poor bastards unfortunate to share the road with you and others with riced out lights.
It's a bad solution all around, and for that matter how about those high beams in the H4s, bet they work great now... EVERY high beam "solution" for an H4 HID conversion has been complete shit.
You both have shitted up your car, and managed to find a way to do it at everyone's expense. Sell the H4 housings to someone that wants them, and go buy some ellipsoids if you insist on running HIDs.
Is that so much to ask?
And FWIW, if I see your ass in my neck of the woods, I'll show you what bright lights are about and see how you enjoy glare. My highbeams are evil.-Dave

If you really NEED epic lighting, go here and get it: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show....php?p=2127637
You have chosen to break the law at the expense of others, not yourself. That is why you're "that guy." Please don't be that guy.

There's no reason to get angry. Putting HID's in low beam refractor housings is just rude to everyone else on the road. And I'm sorry but yes, if you do that it makes you a douche. I hate it when I see hondas and v dubs coming at me with that blinding bright light. You don't need to turn your low beams into high beams. That's why you have seperate high beams. Go ahead and put HID's in your high beams-> bright light so you can see to get to work but with the ability to turn them off when other drivers are approaching. No brainer.

What with the blatant disregard for everyone else on the road with your shitty idea of a car mod, don't be surprised if you see much more roadway animosity directed your way. You deserve all of it.
Btw, lol, sell that oldd bmw and get a honda, lol.
