I got it off ebay awhile ago, I'm pretty sure it's all the same stuff. I got it from metro restyling http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_6185wt_939

Probably took me about 30 minutes for the first one, and about 20 for the second.

For me, it's a good enough finish. No one I tell believes me that I did it myself...they think it comes stock with all red :)

Just wanted to bump this back up....

The vinyl is still holding. There is no peeling/bubbles anywhere.

I used that vinyl stuff once, it lasted about a 3 months then once the summer heat got to it it began to unravel, but yours looks top notch!

No. Looks like a bright brake light.

Bump, just did this the other day, I used the heat gun slightly differently than this DIY, only used it on the curved edges, and just peeled back the backing about an inch or two at a time as I went, pushing it down in one direction to avoid bubbles.

Anyway, thanks to your suggestions it came out great, here's a picture with only the left done. I love the way it looks.

I purchased the vinyl from rvinyl on ebay, was about $8 for a 12*48" roll.
