    Ellipsoid Install

    The Workstation

    success

Wired to get both lights on when highs turned on

    The next morning

    Wo0oo

I did it pretty much trial and error wasn't that bad of an install even though my soldering was poor it still works and looks great

Did you know K-mart charges $4 for a small spool of solder? what a fucking scam

and I'd like to thank the seller [<karzrtoyz@msn.com>] for being so helpful and giving me the headlights for such a great deal

Looks good. I have seriously been considering going to U.S. ellips rather than the Euro smilies. I haven't made a decision, but every time I see another set of US models, it looks better and better.

I'm still wondering why your car doesn't have them. I mean, don't lie, noone likes the light output from sealed beams. ;)

Those wires are like 22ga, no soldering iron should struggle with those :)

Yeah, Hella H4's are plug and play... not why I bought them though. My dad is an electrical engineer, he taught me electronics before I was 10 so I know my way around quite well.

                      .
You would be amazed... the only part of the iron that heats up enough to melt the solder is like 3/4 inch from the tip and .5mm in diameter so it was all sloppy

by the way... who moved this to the technical section... its pictures of my car none the less not a writeup or question about installation...

Solder is made from lead and silver so you're paying for the silver...Although it doesn't cost as much as gold, it's still a "precious metal". You ought to price some really good brands sometime; it'll definitely sticker shock you.

How did you get your highs to come one with the fogs also?

When I hit my high beams the fogs turn off but low beams stay on... I want all 6 lights to come on. hahaha
