I did make sure to order the wide-angle LEDs (120* viewing angle) as opposed to the narrow-angle. Also got several different models and brightnesses, hopefully one of them will work!

I use a LED for my city lights as well. Primarily because I just like that LEDs use less power and emit less heat. I generally prefer the white light rather than yellow too for exterior lights. I will admit that when the headlights are turned on, the yellow halogens don't match the city lights anymore.

I also use white LEDs for my interior dome lights. I prefer the warm feel of normal bulbs for the interior, but I find that normal bulbs tend to melt the plastic lens of the light after awhile and they're not that cheap to buy brand new, so I'd rather stick to cooler (literally) LEDs.

Hey guys, this may be a bit off topic, but I'm having trouble sourcing the rubber piece that holds the actual bulb in the socket up there.
I've looked on RealOEM, and no luck. I hope I'm just doing it wrong.
Mine have disintegrated, and don't provide a very good seal anymore, which only worsens matters inside the bucket, as you know.

Great conversation, I've been looking for a viable bulb replacement myself.

At first I wasnt much for the yellowish look but the fact that mine matches the signals makes me not stray to LEDs.

I agree that on your car the incandescent bulbs match the running lights much better. I disconnected my running lights in lew (sp?) of the city lights so color-match isn't as big of a deal.

i was looking at the LED light bulbs at that website, i found one for the front bumper lights. Will those work for it or is it just going to blink really fast? cause their selling relays on there too, will i need a relay too to go with it?

My guess is they would blink fast, the stock relays will see low current across the circuit and assume the bulb is out/shorted.

You won't need a relay, but you will need one of their resistors that causes the stock relay to see more current and not hyper blink. That's what I am running with my LED tails, bumper lights, and side markers.
