9005 conversion for 9006 ellispoids

i read the articule on the e34 9005 conversion for the 9006 i was just wondering what is the best way to out the two plastic tabs on the inside of the plug part. Because i cant think of a tool.

I haven't done this but my guess would be a dremel or similar tool. if they are plastic you can probably even use a knife if you are careful.

The last time I did this the first tool that I grabbed was a pair of needle-nose pliers. I just grabbed the two tabs and squeezed. One broke clean off and the other came mostly off. A little wiggling of the pliers later the second tab came off the rest of the way.

i did this, just use some wire clippers and clip off the tabs. u wont get that cool halo look in the ellips anymore though....

cutoffs are still there in the ellips, so u wont be blinding any1.
