HID fog lights? 35 or 55w?

alright im gonna be getting new fogs soon (i hope) and i was thinking about getting HIDs for them BUT would i need the 35 or 55w kit?

either works.
go with 55w though. 10$ more and so much better.
do NOT get the dumb color lights. get white with tinge of blue or pure white.

also get the slim ballasts

ive got 6000ks now not SUPER blue just barely blue and it makes a HUGE difference!

and should i get the H1 or H3 for them??

You don't need 55w in your fogs, that's what your low beams are for.
Getting super bright fogs is kind of douchey I'd say especially if they are going to be super bright and yellow.

lol i dont have french fogs anymore :( but i was just thinking bright white fogs 4300k i believe? lol

Fogs you need coverage, which you get from the optics (ie: lens) not from the bulb. imho

I would go with 35w. 55w and anything over a 5k bulb is just dumb.

I had 55w 3000k. they were nice for a while but the cheap quality did them in. didn't really have issues blinding people, fogs don't project very far.

but they really don't do anything in fog..

I just put in 35w 5000k bulbs into my fogs, they are plenty bright. You don't want to put 55w would be way to bright.

If I recall what I read in the past on another thread, 55w is too much for the fogs in terms of heat output, aka start melting shit.

35w 3500k for a nice yellow. nothing past your lows though.
