One blinker blinks faster

I have the same problem right now. Did you everfind out what it was that caused this?

All you guys with blinker problems. Remove your bulb sockets and wire brush the terminals or contact points. Oxidation on terminals causes short circuits and the blinkers start acting up. Make all metal contact pins shiney.

Thank you kidn sir. I just took my bumper off and cleaned the connector with backing soda and water. Then greased up the connections and BAM, It all works good!

do you seriously have to take the bumper off to get at the connectors?

i have thought about doing this but realised this the other day

would the bentley manual say how to do this?

If you have plastic bumpers yes. I dunno about other bumpers, but on mine thats the only way. Only took me like 5 minutes, and then you can nicely clean the car while youre at it too haha

E30 owners manual is a rare beast. I troll junkyard cars in search of them, along with tool kit tools. I have maybe 4 manuals, but that equates to only 1.5 full copies. I ran out of paste, and the moldy pages aren't too good for the lungs.

I have a complete good condition one?? WANT IT???
