The smoked laminex looks good. I was more reffering to the yellow. Its looks like lemon lime gatorade, almost green to me. Those tails look sexy as hell though. Are those painted red or black? I know the red comes out almost black if you lay it on too thick.

It's black. I didn't want them "blacked out", I wanted more of a smoked look so I wet sanded till I got a finish I was happy with then buffed them out so you still some of the red coming through.
