Try and get some H3 high beams. They're very similar to the H1, but you can usually find them a lot cheaper. Just find any 5 3/4" H3.. they're usually used for fog lights, but you can use them as high beams too because they're a single filament bulb.

Theres a guy on maxforums who quoted me $76 shipped for Hella H4 lows with bulbs. He goes by NickP.. up in Canada.. I was about to purchase them but spent my money elsewhere... I kinda regret it now.

$76 is an OK price if it comes with really good bulbs. Otherwise, just check on eBay for some 5 3/4" H4s... there were other makes besides BMW that use/d that size headlight.
