Turn signal triggers brake light

My rear lights work great on the drivers side of the car but the passenger side tail light will trigger the brake light instead of the turn signal. Hitting the brakes causes the turn signal indicator to light up slightly. If i have the turn signal on it will blink when to the right unless I hit the brake and it will stay solid dimly lit.

The ground on that side is bad.
