Smoking Ellips with crosshairs! questions

I just bought some us ellips from a friend for 30$. I want to smoke em like hella does with the crosshairs but do an x instead of a +...

Thing is I would rather buy the crosshairs already made and I can't find them. Someone was selling them on r3v for 30$ but he's not here anymore... And I want it too look good so making them myself with 0 experience is a meh idea...

The idea is to clean up the worn out ellips I have now and make them look good and smoked.. I just need the crosshairs to be ready to start taking stuff apart. Thanks!

Use the template on the diy.
Use a thin sheet metal and paint them black. Cant be that hard with the template though i've never done it.

what if you painted the crosshairs yellow, would you get an amber look?
